Google Analytics : Create Filters?

Filters in Google analytics is used for include and exclude traffic from particular IP address, traffic from subdomains, multiple same pages into single pages. For example if you don’t want to include traffic from your own system, you can exclude your traffic using IP address from default view for knowing real traffics. So Google analytics filters only exclude traffic from that IP address. Like this you can add include, exclude or include traffic from specific domain (e.m. domain.com), track activity on only sub directories (contact/ help/ faq), track on only particular host name (e.m) helps.domain.com

There are two types of Filters:

  • Predefined Filters
  • Custom Filters

Predefined Filters :  We can do these things in predefined fileters. You can do see these things predefined filters

After sign in google analytics account, select which site do you want to filter traffic?
And go to the admin tap , now you can see three columns
Under view column, click the filters

  • We can include or exclude  traffic for sub domain pages. For example sales.domain.com or support.domain.com

Custom Filters:

Exclude : you can click here for exclude whatever you want. For example Host Name, Browsers, countries, devices etc. if you want to exclude US countries visits, you can exclude traffic from report

Include : you can include traffics which you select from the list. It will display matching Hits other non-matching hits will be ignored

Lowercase/Uppercase : we can convert the content of the field into all uppercase or lowercase.

Search & Replace : We can search pattern within field and replace the found pattern with alternate form.

What is SEO?

Generally we know about search engine. When we type the word or phrase in the search engine box, search engine shows all related information about that phrase or word. But basically Search engine is a software which uses the application  for collecting the information. When we type the keywords or phrase in search  engine box, it will show all URL,content and keywords related to that topic. The code and URL of the page  makes the page and links help to go into and out of the page. That all information will be indexed and stored in a database.

When the user clicks a search button, an algorithm checks the information which stored in the back end database. It  will retrieve links to web pages for matching search term which user entered in the search engine box. They are many search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, Blekko, Duckduckgo, Yebol, Wiredoo. Most famous search engines are Google and Yahoo.First search engine tool is Archie which was invented by Alan Emtagein 1990.But it was not exactly search engine tool. it was like program.
